Some Internet hack speculated for SportingNews.com in a free-agency Ten-Pack that the signing of tailback Michael Turner in Atlanta meant that Warrick Dunn’s days with the Falcons are over.

Jim Trotter of SI.com reports that Dunn already has requested his release.

Trotter says that several teams would be interested in Dunn, including the Cowboys, Texans, and Broncos.

But as said Internet hack noted, Tony Dungy should consider bringing Dunn to Indy.  Both left Tampa after the 2001 season, and Warrick still doesn’t have the Super Bowl ring that he deserves.

And we think that Dunn’s skills would fit nicely within the Indy offense.  No offense to Kenton Keith, but the combination of Joseph Addai and Warrick Dunn is a lot more appealing in the Colts’ backfield.
