In an undated video interview on RollingOut.com, Titans cornerback Pacman Jones expresses a desire to leave the Titans and play for the Dallas Cowboys.
“Hopefully I can get out of Tennessee. I want to go up to Dallas,’’ Jones says. “So we’ll see how it goes and I am just going to keep my head up.”
The Titans have not cut ties with Jones during his one-year suspension, possibly in order to trade him — and to get something in return for the No. 6 overall draft pick that was used to get him in 2005.
As while many folks might wonder who in their right mind would want to take a shot on Pacman, given that he seems destined to spend time on the wrong side of a row of steel bars, keep these two realities in mind: first, Jones has coveted football skills, both as a cornerback and as a kick returner; second, every coach thinks he’s the one who can get through to a troubled player.
