Our pal Howard Balzer reported today on Team 1380 radio in St. Louis that Thursday night’s incident between Rams receiver Torry Holt and coach Scott Linehan wasn’t the first time this year that there’s been an issue between them.

When the Rams played the Seahawks earlier this year, Holt and receiver Isaac Bruce approach Linehan with ideas for beating the defensive backs, based on the manner in which they were being defended.  Said Linehan:  “You play, I’ll coach.”

Balzer also says that there were similar incidents, but that only Thursday night’s was caught by cameras.
